The mother of a renowned journalist from Kayamkulam, was my heart patient for nearly thirty years. Few years ago, she suffered from two attacks of ‘Stroke’ and her condition became very critical. 

 

As nothing more could be done, she was taken back home. Her 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th cranial nerves were paralysed.  She could neither swallow nor spit out sputum. Hence, Ryle's tube was put in for feeding and repeated suction of the secretions in the throat was done by machine. She had breathing difficulty too.

 

Everyone thought that she was nearing her end. That morning, there was a wonder that she got up from bed and started smiling. She said “for some time I was dreaming Dr. K.K. Mathew. He is a God-sent person”. She asked her daughter to convey the message to me which she did. The miracle is that she started swallowing and spitting out sputum. After two weeks the journalist sent me a photo that she was uncovering the outer skin of onions. She lived happily for one year.

 

Christ touched and healed her!
